Service Animal Policy
Megaplex welcomes service animals. Under the ADA, a service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, a Megaplex employee may ask the following two questions when the need for a service animal is not readily apparent:
- Is the animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
Finally, the ADA does not recognize animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support. Such animals are not permitted in Megaplex cinemas or facilities under this policy.
