MegaPass Program – Terms & Conditions

Definition of MegaPass Benefits

“MegaPass Benefits” include, but are not limited to:

  • One (1) or two (2) free standard movie tickets per month, depending on the subscription plan
  • Discounted MegaPass guest tickets, where applicable
  • Waived or reduced convenience fees on eligible MegaPass ticket redemptions
  • Any promotional offers or benefits associated with an active MegaPass subscription

All MegaPass Benefits are subject to these Terms & Conditions and may vary by plan, location, film, or availability.

Subscription Term, Renewal, and Billing

MegaPass is an ongoing subscription that automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled by the guest prior to renewal. Yearly subscriptions do not auto-renew. Only monthly.

Subscription charges:

  • Occur at the start of each billing period
  • Are billed to the payment method on file

If a payment fails:

  • The subscription may be suspended or terminated
  • MegaPass Benefits, including ticket redemption, will be unavailable until payment is successfully completed

Megaplex reserves the right to update subscription pricing, fees, or included benefits at any time. Any changes will apply prospectively and, where required, guests will be notified in advance.

Gift Cards

Gift cards may not be used to purchase, pay for, or renew a MegaPass subscription. Gift cards may only be redeemed toward eligible ticket purchases and concessions and are subject to standard restrictions.

Gifting and Transferability

MegaPass subscriptions are non-transferable and may not be gifted. MegaPass subscriptions cannot be purchased, gifted, or redeemed using gift cards, redemption codes, or promotional vouchers.

Ticket Accrual, Expiration, and Usage Limits

Free MegaPass tickets are issued monthly based on the guest’s active subscription plan.

  • Free credits do not stack indefinitely and expire if not used within the applicable eligibility period
  • Accounts may hold a maximum of twelve (12) unused MegaPass ticket credits at any time
  • Once the maximum is reached, additional monthly credits will not be issued until existing credits are redeemed
  • Usage limits: Tickets are valid for standard showtimes only unless otherwise stated

Fees and Ticket Eligibility

Holding an active MegaPass subscription does not automatically waive online booking fees, convenience fees, or other applicable surcharges. Fees are waived or reduced only when eligible MegaPass ticket types are used.

Online and booking fees will be waived only when:

  • Redeeming free MegaPass ticket credits; or
  • Purchasing eligible MegaPass Guest Discount tickets, where applicable.

Standard (non-MegaPass) tickets purchased through the same account will continue to be subject to all applicable online and booking fees.

To receive MegaPass Benefits, guests must select the designated MegaPass ticket types during checkout. Fee waivers or reductions do not apply if standard ticket types are selected.

Studio Restrictions and Exclusions

Certain films, formats, or showtimes may be temporarily excluded from MegaPass eligibility at the request of film studios or distributors.

During restricted periods:

  • MegaPass tickets may not be redeemed
  • Fee waivers or discounts may not apply

Studio-imposed restrictions may vary by title and are subject to change without notice.

Refunds and Cancellations

MegaPass subscription refunds are generally only available if no MegaPass Benefits have been used. Once any benefits are redeemed, including tickets, discounts, or promotional offers, the subscription becomes non-refundable.

Guests may cancel their subscription at any time; however, cancellation does not guarantee a refund for any unused or previously issued benefits.

Active Subscription Requirement

An active MegaPass subscription is required to redeem MegaPass tickets and benefits. If a subscription lapses, is suspended, or becomes inactive for any reason, MegaPass Benefits may not be redeemed.

If a guest elects not to reactivate a lapsed MegaPass subscription, unused MegaPass tickets may, as a one-time courtesy and at Guest Services’ sole discretion, be replaced with standard Guest Service passes. Replacement is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, local theatre policy, and verification of account status. Any replacement passes issued will include an expiration date and have no cash value.

Reactivation

Guests may reactivate a lapsed MegaPass subscription by logging into their account and completing payment for the applicable billing period. Benefits will resume upon successful reactivation.

Seat Types, Premium Formats, and Special Events

MegaPass tickets may be used for any available seat type, including standard seating and recliner seating, where offered.

Tickets are valid for standard format showings. For premium formats including MegaScreen, IMAX, and DBOX an upgrade charge will apply at the time of booking. Upgrade charges are the responsibility of the guest and are subject to change.

MegaPass tickets may not be valid for special events, including but not limited to Fathom Events, private screenings, live events, or other non-standard theatrical presentations. Eligibility for such events is determined at the company’s discretion.

Premium format availability, pricing, upgrade charges, and event eligibility may vary by location, film, and showtime.

Modifications and Program Change

The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the MegaPass program, its benefits, or these Terms & Conditions at any time, subject to applicable law.
