Refund Policy

Movie Tickets

2 Hours or More Before Showtime

  • Self-help refunds are available for tickets purchased via our website but not for tickets purchased via the app or in person.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable.
  • When using a self-help refund, all seats and concessions must be refunded, and the self-help refund cannot be used to refund a partial booking.
  • Self-help refunds are not possible if the food/concessions prep has been triggered by clicking ‘I’m here’ in the app or checking in at concessions, nor is it possible if the tickets have been collected at the venue (scanned or printed).
  • Monetary refunds can also be requested via our online guest service team here (A member of our guest service team will respond as soon as possible during business hours. Business Hours: Monday – Sunday: 10:00am – 8:00pm) or in person at the theatre if there are 2 hours or more before the start of your showtime. This applies to tickets purchased via the website or the app.
  • Tickets purchased in person at the theatre must be refunded in person at the theatre and cannot be refunded by our online guest services team.

Less Than 2 Hours Before Showtime

  • Self-Help refunds are not available if there is less than 2 hours remaining before your showing starts.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable.
  • If your showing is within 2 hours of your request for a refund, our online guest services team will not be able to issue a monetary refund but may be able to issue ticket vouchers to your MegaRewards account for use on a future showing. (Submit a request – A member of our guest service team will respond as soon as possible during business hours. Business Hours: Monday – Sunday: 10:00am – 8:00pm)
  • If you are requesting a refund in person at the theatre within 2 hours of your showtime starting, the funds will be refunded to a gift card. Purchases in person can only be refunded to a gift card.

Post Showtime – NO REFUNDS

If your showtime has passed, we are no longer able to offer a refund, credits, or vouchers.

Ticket Swapping

  • Ticket swaps or changes can be done on site at the theatre, so long as they are done before the start of your initial showtime.
  • For swaps that involve moving to a different Megaplex location, you will need to refund your initial booking and purchase new tickets for the correct location.
  • While our online guest services team is unable to process swaps or changes, they are able to refund your booking for you so you can purchase new tickets for the correct location or showtime. To ensure the booking fee is refunded in instances where you intend to swap, you will need to have purchased the correct tickets first and provide proof to the online guest services team via receipt or booking ID before they refund your original booking.

Third Party Ticket Vendors

Tickets purchased via a third party like Fandango, Atom, MovieTickets.com, etc, cannot be refunded via our online guest service team. You will either have to reach out to their customer service for assistance or refund those tickets in person at the theatre.

Miscellaneous

  • We are not able to refund gift cards or movie ticket passes. Once you have purchased a gift card or movie ticket pass, that sale is final.
  • You can return wrapped, unopened gift packages with a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase.
  • Movie memorabilia including cups, tins, collectible popcorn containers, and other merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged once they are used or leave the premises. Please be sure you want these items before you buy them, as all sales are final.

Bowling

Reservation fee – Bowling reservation fee is non-refundable.

Arcade

  • Arcade cards are non-refundable. Arcade cards are valid for game play only and have no monetary value. Game cards cannot be used to purchase bowling, restaurant items, movies, or concessions.
  • Megaplex gift cards, movie tickets, and concessions vouchers CANNOT be redeemed for bowling, restaurant, or arcade.

Movie Ratings Policy

Megaplex Theatres ensures our Movie Ratings Policy is fully enforced every time a ticket is purchased or redeemed.

  • A parent or legal guardian must purchase tickets and accompany any guest under age 17 into the auditorium of an R-rated film and stay to see the film.
  • Everyone in the party must have their ID ready for R-rated films.
  • A valid driver’s license or state ID is required in order to purchase tickets for R-rated films.
  • Children 5 and under are not admitted after 6 p.m. to R-rated films.
  • Children 5 and under are not admitted to our VIP auditoriums.

Large Bags and Backpacks Policy

Large bags or backpacks are not permitted inside the theatre. All bags are subject to inspection prior to admission. Megaplex Theatres is not responsible for any lost or stolen bags from the premises.
